Andy Penn will be the man in charge at Elland Road on Tuesday night when Leeds United welcome Carlisle United in the first leg of the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy Northern Area final.

The West Midlands official has refereed 20 games so far this season showing 36 yellow cards and 0 reds.

Last season he refereed 29 games showing 55 yellow cards and 3 reds.

He`s already taken charge of a Leeds game in this competition this season, he was in charge when Leeds defeated Grimsby Town 3-1, on that occasion he didn`t produce a card for either side.


His last game in charge of Carlisle United was earlier this season in the Carling Cup when they knocked out Championship side Bristol City 2-0 away.
