Leeds United meet West Yorkshire neighbours Bradford City in the Carling Cup on Tuesday night and we look at the record between the two at Elland Road.

Despite the local proximity between the two sides, they have only met on thirteen previous occasions. Leeds have won nine, Bradford one and three have been drawn.

Leeds have won the last four meetings, with the last one coming during the 2008/09 season, when they won 2-1 in the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy, thanks to goals from Andy Robinson and Luciano Becchio.

Bradford enjoyed their only victory at Elland Road during the 1986/87 season, when they won a Full Members cup match 1-0 after extra time.

They have met once before in the League Cup when Leeds won a 3rd round tie 1-0 thanks to a goal from Harry ‘Judas` Kewell.

Leeds enjoyed their biggest win during the 2000/01 season when beating Bradford 6-1 in a Premier League match. All six of Leeds goals that day coming from six different players with Mark Viduka, Lee Bowyer, Ian Harte, Eirik Bakke, Alan Smith and that man ‘Judas` once again finding the target.
