Vital Leeds looks at the head to head record between Leeds and Barnsley at Elland Road ahead of the Championship clash on Tuesday.

The two sides have met on 25 previous occasions with Leeds winning 13, Barnsley 5 and 7 draws.

The first ever clash between the two came during the 1920/21 season when they battled out a 0-0 draw.

The last time they met was during the 2006/07 season goals from Tresor Kandol and Ugo Ehiogu earned Leeds a point in a 2-2 draw.

Leeds last win came during the 2000/01 season when they won an FA Cup third round clash 1-0 thanks to a goal from Mark Viduka.

The last time Barnsley won at Elland Road was during Leeds promotion season of 1989/90.

Two late goals earned relegation threatened Barnsley a 2-1 win in Leeds penultimate home game of the season to inflict their only home defeat of the season.

When the two sides met at Oakwell earlier in the season, Barnsley won 5-2.
