Leeds United head coach Thomas Christiansen will make changes to his squad for the Carabao Cup clash with Newport County.

Pablo Hernandez and Caleb Ekuban both picked up knocks in the win over Sunderland at the weekend and are not expected to feature.

Rob Green, Conor Shaughnessy, Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, Ronaldo Vieira, Stuart Dallas, Mateusz Klich, Kemar Roofe and Souleymane Doukara are all pushing for a start.

Leeds could also bring youngsters Mallik Wilks, Eoghan Stokes and Paudie O`Connor after they trained with the first team squad on Monday.

Matthew Pennington and Gaetano Berardi remain sidelined for Leeds through injury.

Newport are hoping to include Ben Tozer in the squad. The midfielder has been sidelined with a knee injury since January but he is set to make his return.

Striker Marlon Jackson remains sidelined for Newport.
