Vital Leeds United is keeping fans up to date with all the latest transfer rumours over the summer with Neil Warnock looking to build a squad capable of mounting a promotion challenge next season.
The first player linked with Leeds at the end of last season finally signs with El Hadji Diouf signing on an initial non-contract basis to make him eligible for the cup-tie against Shrewsbury.
Nick Montgomery is once again being linked with Leeds. The midfielder has been linked with a move to Elland Road for the previous two summers and the Daily Star say we are in a three-way fight with Millwall and Burnley for the £500,000 rated player.
Teammate Stephen Quinn is also being linked with a move to Leeds.
Striker Ross McCormack is talking with Leeds again regarding a new contract and Premier League side Everton are following the progress. Everton boss David Moyes was at the game at Preston last week and his assistant David Weir attended the game with Shrewsbury.
Portsmouth midfielder Liam Lawrence was linked with a move to Leeds in week 13 and he is now a free agent after terminating his contract at Fratton Park.
One player linked with Leeds this summer will not be joining. Simon Cox (week 10) signed for Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
If you read of any player links in or out of Elland Road then let us know on Vital Leeds.
