Vital Leeds United is keeping fans up to date with all the latest transfer rumours over the summer with Neil Warnock looking to build a squad capable of mounting a promotion challenge next season.

It has been a much busier week this week, with a number of new names being linked with Leeds whilst Robert Snodgrass, Ross McCormack and Aidy White continue to be linked with moves away from the club.

The week ends on a positive note with Aidy White.

Brighton striker Craig Mackail-Smith was linked with a move to Leeds last week and this week there is talk of a swap deal, with Ross McCormack joining Brighton in exchange for Mackail-Smith.

With the ever-increasing belief that McCormack will be leaving Leeds, Burnley striker Charlie Austin is linked with a move across the Pennines.

Transfer listed Peterborough United striker George Boyd is also rumoured to be on Neil Warnock`s radar.

Young Manchester City defender Reece Wabara is being linked with a host of clubs, including Leeds.

20 year old Wabara can play anywhere across the back and he is being linked with a loan move with Barnsley, Huddersfield, Doncaster Rovers and Preston also reported to be interested.

The Scottish Sun reported on Friday that Leeds are interested in Dundee United striker Johnny Russell and Hearts winger David Templeton.

22-year-old Russell made 43 appearances last season for Dundee United scoring 15 goals.

Winger Templeton has been linked with Leeds in previous summers. The 23 year old made 35 appearances for Hearts last season.

Norwich City midfielder Andrew Crofts is linked with a move to Elland Road just hours before news broke that Norwich had made a bid for Leeds midfielder Robert Snodgrass.

Leeds are reported to have turned down the offer from Norwich, telling the Norfolk club that their bid does not meet the clubs valuation of the player.

Norwich are reported to have come in with an increased offer for Snodgrass on Friday and I am sure there will be more news in the coming week.

Andy Lonergan completes his move to Bolton Wanderers.

Out of contract Aidy White was continuing to be linked with a move to another club. Derby County and Middlesbrough were the latest clubs to be linked with the 20 year old.

It all proved fruitless as White agreed a new three-year deal with Leeds on Friday.

Richard Keogh will not be joining Leeds this summer. The Coventry City defender joined Derby County on Thursday.

If you read of any player links in or out of Elland Road then let us know on Vital Leeds.
