Vital Leeds United will be keeping a close eye on how the Leeds players are doing during their loan spells away from the club.

Leeds currently have four players out on a season-long loan but it is expected to increase before the transfer window closes at the end of this month.

Lewie Coyle – Fleetwood Town (Season-long loan)
Appearances 3 (0) Goals 0

Coyle played 76 minutes for Fleetwood in midweek as they were knocked out of the Carabao Cup by lower league opposition. Carlisle won 2-1 at Fleetwood after the game had gone into extra-time. Coyle claimed an assist for the Carlisle equaliser in the second half as he crossed for Jordy Hiwula to score.

The full-back played the 90 minutes on Saturday as Fleetwood made it two wins out of two in the League. Fleetwood owed a lot to former Leeds United goalkeeper Alex Cairns who produced a man of the match display that included an amazing triple save.

Luke Murphy – Burton Albion (Season-long loan)
Appearances 2 (0) Goals 0

Murphy was an unused substitute for Burton in midweek as they booked their place in the second round of the Carabao Cup with a 3-2 win at Oldham Athletic.

The midfielder was back in the side for the Championship clash at Hull City on Saturday. Murphy played the 90 minutes as Burton were beaten 4-1 in a game that saw Leeds linked Burton midfielder Jackson Irvine score and then be sent off in an eventful first half.

Tyler Denton – Port Vale (Season-long loan)
Appearances 1 (0) Goals

Young full-back Tyler Denton joined Leeds League Cup opponents Port Vale on a season-long loan on Monday but he was not eligible for the clash against Leeds on Wednesday evening.

Denton made his debut for Port Vale on Saturday against Wycombe Wanderers. The full-back played the 90 minutes as they went down to a 3-2 home defeat.

Marcus Antonsson – Blackburn Rovers (Season-long loan)
Appearances 0 (0) Goals 0
Antonsson joined Blackburn for the season on Friday but he was not involved in their weekend defeat at home to Doncaster Rovers.
