Vital Leeds looks at how the on loan Leeds United players did in the weekend`s games.
Goalkeeper Maik Taylor kept his second clean sheet in four games since moving to fellow championship side Millwall.
Taylor helped his side to a creditable 0-0 draw at play-off chasing Cardiff City and they are now four points clear of the relegation places.
Fellow goalkeeper Paul Rachubka is on loan at Leyton orient and he could not stop league leaders Charlton Athletic at the Valley.
Charlton won 2-0 to continue their pursuit of a return to the championship.
The defeat leaves Orient five points above the relegation places with seven games remaining.
Rachubka is due to return to Elland Road after Orient`s game with Lloyd Sam`s Notts County on Friday.
The keeper will get the chance to play against former manager Simon Grayson on Tuesday night when Orient entertain Huddersfield Town at home.
Sam played the full 90 minutes for Notts County has they continue their push for a play-off place.
Former Leeds defender Alan Sheehan scored the only goal of the game at Meadow Lane has they beat Oldham Athletic 1-0 to remain one place outside the play-off places in seventh.
Sanchez Payne was an unused substitute in Buxton`s 1-3 defeat to Bradford Park Avenue on Saturday.
Payne had made his second appearance for Buxton in midweek when he came off the bench in their 3-1 win at Michelover Sports.
The defeat on Saturday was only their second defeat (both to Bradford PA) since the arrival of Payne and they are currently one point above the relegation zone.
Elsewhere, former Leeds United loan player Eric Lichaj made his first Premier League start of the season and scored in the 4-2 home defeat at the hands of Chelsea.
Lichaj spent the second half of last season on loan at Elland Road and he became popular amongst the fans with a string of consistent performances.
The young American has missed almost the whole season with a hip injury and he made his first appearance has a late substitute in Villa`s defeat at Arsenal last weekend since starting and scoring against Hereford in the Carling Cup in August.
Lichaj equalised for Villa on Saturday to make it 2-2 and score his first Premier League goal.
