Vital Leeds United contributor Tiny T gives us his first fan view from Elland Road this season.

He gives us his view of the performance after Leeds beat Port Vale 4-1 in the Carabao Cup in a game where Samuel Saiz marked his Leeds debut with a hat-trick.

Wiedwald 6
He stood little chance with the goal and he had a quiet night otherwise.

Anita 6
Anita was solid at the back and got forward well at times.

Ayling 6
It was an unusual position for him but stuck to his task.

Shaughnessy 7
He had a good game. He made a couple of blocks and he produced some good cross-field balls.

Borthwick-Jackson 7
He enjoyed a good debut. He was tidy at left back and then centre half later in the game.

Vieira 7
He got better as the game went on.

Klich 6
A decent debut. He doesn’t shirk a challenge and he likes to get on the ball.

Sacko 3
Disappointing against lower league opponents.

Saiz 9 Star man
He always wanted to be involved and a stunning hat-trick. We don’t get many of them.

Dallas 7
He worked hard and he seemed in tune with Saiz.

Ekuban 6
He got better as the game went on. The goal will give him confidence.

Subs
Bridcutt 6

Tidy and compact.

Alioski 8
He added impetus in his 30 minutes. He was direct and tricky.

Gomes 6
He didn’t do nothing wrong in his short appearance.

Summary

First half we made a bright start with plenty of possession. Saiz first goal gave us the lead but poor defending at a throw-in saw Vale equalise.

Second half saw the fireworks as Saiz finished off his hat-trick and Ekuban getting his first for the Club.

Christiansen has problems on Saturday with selection – All good.

Who does he start?
