Vital Leeds United contributor King Billy gives us his view of the performance against Fulham on Tuesday evening.

Leeds and Fulham battled out a goalless draw.

Wiedwald 7
First time he has really been tested with shots and he did well, including a great save when faced with a one-on-one. I hope that this will do his confidence the world of good.

Ayling 7
The usual Ayling performance. He missed a great chance to score his first competitive goal for Leeds in the second half.

Shaughnessy 8
A lot of negativity amongst the supporters when they saw he was starting. I thought he was superb. Very strong in the tackle and he made a couple of superb blocks to deny Fulham.

Jansson 7
Jansson produced a much better performance than Saturday. I think he needed the game on Saturday to get up to the pace of the game.

Anita 7
I really like Anita and he would be my first choice at left-back.

Phillips 7
He was overworked in midfield along with O’Kane. He made some great challenges. Another player who gets far too much criticism from the fans.

O’Kane 7
Like his midfield partner, overworked. They got little support in the centre of midfield.

Hernandez 6
He slowly grew into the game but he always goes missing when it is a tough game.

Saiz 8 star man
He was Leeds bright spark in midfield and he doesn’t neglect the dirty side of the game. He is prepared to do the hard work to help out defensively.

Wood 6
He missed another great chance when put through on goal. I think the next time he gets one, he just needs to put his foot through the ball. Wrongly had a goal disallowed for offside.

Alioski 7
A fantastic ball to put Wood through for his chance,. He works really hard and he made some great challengers getting back to help.

Subs
Roofe 5

He didn’t get into the game at all.

Dallas 6
He came close to winning the game for Leeds. He looks much improved in his couple of brief appearances this season.

Summary
I thought we were going to get beat heavily the way they started. Fulham move the ball around so quickly and always have players in support and they were teeing up players for shots at will in the first 20 minutes.

We slowly got going and should have led at half time. Wood missed a great chance but then had a goal wrongly disallowed for offside.

Second half was quite entertaining despite it staying goalless. The players worked hard to close down Fulham and give them no time and space on the ball.

A draw was probably a fair result in the end.

Sunderland will be a very good test on Saturday.
