Vital Leeds contributor King Billy made the trip to Burton Albion on Boxing Day to watch Leeds come from behind to claim a crucial three points.

King Billy gives us his view of the performance of the side.

Wiedwald 6
He still worries me. I thought he could have done more with the low cross for the first goal and he fumbled a late effort that almost led to the equaliser.

Ayling 6
Another poor game by his standards.

Jansson 7
He marshalled the Leeds defence and he always seemed to be in the thick of the action when Burton attacked.

Cooper 7
Another steady game for the Leeds captain and he seems to be going about his business quietly and efficiently.

Berardi 6
I was not sure what all the fuss was about with his tackle. He took the ball cleanly and the Burton player was nowhere near the ball. I didn`t see as much fuss being made when Vieira almost had his leg broke.

O`Kane 6
Not at it in the first half. I am not sure him and Vieira can play together as we lack a creative spark in the middle.

Vieira 7
He seemed to get better after the nasty challenge. A superb ball to Roofe for the winning goal.

Alioski 5
He struggled to get going and he was kept quiet by the big Burton defender.

Hernandez 7
A superb equaliser from a free-kick. It was his highlight as he struggled to get going.

Roofe 8 Star Man
I thought he worked his socks off the whole game. In the first half he lacked any support but manage to create himself a couple of chances. A well-taken finish for the winner. He needs someone playing nearer to him.

Cibicki 5
A very quiet game. He saw a lot of the ball early in the game but he did nothing with it.

Subs

Lasogga 5

He is either not fit or not bothered. He should have been working really hard pressing the Burton defenders late in the game but it all seemed really laboured.

Phillips 5
He was brought on late in the game and got involved straight away.

Pennington
He was brought on to help defensively and run down the clock.

Summary
Another game that was not particularly pretty but we have come away with the three points.

We looked the better team until we conceded a soft goal and that seemed to knock our confidence until we actually equalised.

I wondered what was going to happen with the free-kick with Leeds setting up three walls. In the end, I don`t think the Burton keeper would have saved it had we not bothered doing anything.

The winning goal was a superb slide rule ball that Roofe made look easy to finish.

I hope Vieira is ok. He seemed ok after the poor challenge that left him on the floor for five minutes. I was really not sure why the Burton fans were booing him.

Last season, we lost a similar game at Burton but we showed that we are made of something different this season but we do really need to strengthen in January. We need more power and strength going forward and I still think we need a keeper despite Wiedwald looking a bit better recently.

I hope that we can end the year with a win at Birmingham because there are a lot of teams around us facing each other on Saturday so we could really close the gap on the top two.

Get a win at Birmingham and I really feel this new owner will back the manager in January.
