Vital Leeds United contributor King Billy made the trip to Turf Moor on Tuesday night.

He gives his view on the Leeds performance in the Carabao Cup as Leeds booked their place in the last sixteen with a penalty shoot-out win.

Lonergan 7
Two good saves during the game and then he saved a crucial penalty in the shoot-out.

Berardi 6
He looked a bit of the pace having been out for so long. A daft penalty to give away in the final minute.

Ayling 7
He did well in the centre of defence.

Shaughnessy 8 Star Man
A superb performance from the youngster. He always seemed to be in the right place at the right time.

Borthwick-Jackson 5
He is yet to impress me. His passing was very lazy and often put Leeds in trouble.

Vieira 7
He worked hard in midfield.

Klich 7
He goes about his game very quietly. Always on hand to receive the ball. A very cool penalty in the shoot-out.

Dallas 8
He worked very hard down the left and he did a good job at left-back when asked.

Cibicki 6
A few good moments but he looks like he is going to need to toughen up in the English league. He was knocked off the ball far too easily.

Grot 6
He had a great opportunity early on that he wasted with a tame finish. He never really got going in the game.

Roofe 7
He worked hard on the right side.

Subs

Sacko 7
He came on and did very well, causing problems down the right. A nice finish for his goal.

Hernandez 7
A sublime through ball for the opener and a calm penalty for the second goal.

Lasogga 6
He got involved and he held the ball up well when it came his way.

Summary
A close game that could have gone either way. Both teams made lots of changes and it is so nice to see how strong our squad is.

We eventually went through on penalties and they were all expertly put away.

I am now looking forward to the draw for the next round. If we don`t get a home draw then West Ham or Tottenham away would be nice.
