Vital Leeds United contributor DesLondon gives us his view of the game at Elland Road.

This time it comes after Leeds 1-0 win against Brentford, their first win in 2018.

Wiedwald 7
He was solid today. He made a fantastic safe early on and he looked assured until a strange punch of the ball near the end. There are still some idiots ironic cheering him. They need to shut up.

Anita 5
He was targeted and he struggled in the first half and he was second best in his duel but he did get better. He did persevere. He does not look natural at left back.

Berardi 6
Solid, no mistakes, and a couple of no nonsense tackles.

Cooper 7
A solid performance and he scored the winner.

Jansson 7
Another one who was solid in defence and he looked commanding, although he gave away two dangerous free-kicks.

O`Kane 6
O`Kane struggled in the first half but he then came into the game in the second half. He made a double tackle that made me proud to be a Leeds fan.

Phillips 6
Like O’Kane, it was a poor first half but he got better.

Dallas 6
Solid and some good tracking back.

Saiz 6
You have to love this player although this was not his best game. He did grow into the match but things did not quite come off for him.

Alioski 7 Star Man
He was the man of the match for me but only just. He never stopped running and provided the assist for the goal.

Lasogga 6
There were not many chances for him today. He seemed to dribble round a defender and the goalkeeper but his shot looked weak and was then cleared. I saw this from the far end of the east stand. Also he was clear when the referee did not play advantage.

Subs
Ekuban 5

He never really got in to the game.

Sacko 5
He replaced Dallas for the closing minutes.

Vieira
Vieira came on to run the clock down in injury time.

Summary
I thought we were poor first half. Easily dominated in midfield and down our left and we went in at the break one up against the run of play.

A better second half when O’Kane and Phillips stepped up and we could have scored more if the ball had run for us. There were some bad final balls and over elaboration.

Referee was poor but I wish some of our players would stop falling over all the time. It is just not Leeds.

My youngest saw his first win and the other two loved the atmosphere.

One thing I hate about Elland Road is the traffic when I have my boys and there was a horrible accident at the end of the game with a supporter being run over. I hope he recovers well.
