We are now just one week away from the start of the new championship season and Leeds have still brought in just three new players.

What makes things worse is, we cannot afford to bring in anyone else until players leave the club. So we either have to sell one of only two or three good players at the club or find someone daft enough to take the deadwood off our hands.

This week, McDermott has been linked with his former Reading defender Kaspars Gorkss.

The Sun said earlier this week that McDermott was keen on signing the 31-year-old in a deal worth £450,000.

Going out of Elland Road, Aidy White has been linked with both Blackpool and Wolverhampton Wanderers. Last weekend`s Sunday People said that Wolves were ready to offer £300,000 for the versatile player.

El Hadji Diouf has been linked with a surprise move to fellow championship side Queens Park Rangers despite not featuring for Leeds in pre-season due to injury.

All the rumours that I put up have been in the national press, local press or websites such as,, and amongst others and not from sites where people just put up their wish list and make out that they have inside knowledge through their best mate`s uncle`s brother.

If you see or read any links with Leeds United then please let us know on here or on the forum.
