Vital Leeds United is keeping fans up to date with all the latest transfer rumours over the summer with Neil Warnock looking to build a squad capable of mounting a promotion challenge next season.

It has been a relatively quiet week this week for new names being linked with the club.

I suppose it only had to be a matter of time before we was linked with the whole of the Portsmouth squad this summer. Striker Dave Kitson is the latest. He is free to find another club and it leaves just Tal Ben Haim left at Portsmouth for us to be linked with before the season starts.

One deal finally completed is that of defender Lee Peltier from Leicester City. Peltier has been linked with a move to Elland Road since week 5 and he finally completed a move to Leeds on Saturday.

There continues to be much speculation surrounding players who have been linked with us already this summer. George Boyd, Craig Mackail-Smith and Jermaine Beckford have once again all been linked with Leeds this week.

Andy O`Brien finally left the club this week. The transfer listed defender signing for Canadian side Vancouver Whitecaps.

Another transfer listed player Billy Paynter looks like he will finally be bringing an end to his two years at Elland Road this week.

Paynter is expected to sign for Doncaster Rovers this week after finishing the week on trial at the Keepmoat having started the week training with Blackpool.

There are three players who will not be signing for Leeds this summer, who have all been linked with the club. Andy Crofts from Norwich City. Crofts was linked with a move to Elland Road in week 12 but he has signed a three year deal with Brighton and Hove Albion this week.

Doncaster Rovers duo Simon Gillett and George Friend were both linked with Leeds in week 2.

Friend signed for Middlesbrough earlier in the week whilst Gillett completed a move to Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

If you read of any player links in or out of Elland Road then let us know on Vital Leeds.
