Leeds found out finally who their opponents for the Carling Cup fourth round will be on Tuesday night.

Derby County comprehensively beat Brighton and Hove Albion 4-1 at The Withdean with Derby striker Emanuel Villa scoring a hat trick.

Derby have recently put last season and their bad start to this season behind them and have lost only one of their last twelve games.

The last time the two clubs met was on the last day of the season in 2006/07 when the clubs went in different directions, the Rams got promoted to the Premiership whilst Leeds were relegated to League One for the first time in their history.

It was also the day that a certain Leeds youngster Fabian Delph made his debut for the club at just 17 years of age.

The last time the two clubs met in cup competition was in 1995/96 when they met in both the League cup and FA Cup at Derby.
Leeds won both ties, 1-0 in the League Cup and 4-2 in the FA Cup.

The tie will take place at Pride Park next Tuesday the 11th November.
