Leeds United have signed experienced midfielder Michael Brown on a free transfer.
The 34 year old was released by Portsmouth at the end of last season and as signed a one-year contract at Elland Road.
Brown hasn`t played since before Christmas, as another appearance for Portsmouth would have meant the south coast club would have had to offer him a new deal.
The former Sheffield United and Tottenham Hotspur player has joined up with the players for the clubs, pre season tour of Scotland, starting at Falkirk tonight.
