Neil Kilkenny was quick to point out after Saturday`s win at Swindon that Leeds players have big hearts.
Leeds were reduced to ten men after only nine minutes when Alan Sheehan was sent off for serious foul play.
Speaking on the official website Killa said “It was a bit disappointing when we went down to ten men, but we`ve got big hearts a good squad and we got the three points”
Rather than sit back and try and defend Leeds continued to attack Swindon and all ten remaining players put in the hard work to get The Whites the three points.
The midfielder put Leeds back in front just after half time when an awful mistake by Smith in the Swindon goal allowed Killa`s thirty yard free kick to squirm through his arms and into the net.
Commenting on the goal he said “I had a shot and he made a mistake, strikers can score lots of tap ins so why can`t I have that”
The Aussie midfielder was replaced just short of the hour mark after covering most of the pitch in an excellent personal performance.
Boss Gary McAllister was also quick to point out the performance of the team on Saturday.
Speaking on the official website Macca said “It was the best result since I came here with the organisation, the two banks of four, the work rate and Becks and Luciano”
