Leeds United midfielder Samu Saiz has been included in the EFL Team of the Week for his performance at Bristol City at the weekend.

The Spaniard fired Leeds into a two-goal lead inside 15 minutes on Saturday as Leeds beat their fellow promotion rivals 3-0 at Ashton Gate.

The team of the week is chosen from the best performing players for their position from across the three divisions of the Football League with a maximum of one player allowed from each club.

Former Leeds defender Neil Aspin was named the manager of the week as he continued his impressive start to life as Port Vale manager. Vale won 1-0 at promotion chasers Exeter City on Saturday and they have now won their last three games having failed to win any of their opening twelve games.
