Leeds United boss Simon Grayson is considering appealing against the red card give to Aidan White at Ipswich Town on Saturday.

The defender was shown a straight red card for a professional foul on Ipswich player Jay Emmanuel-Thomas.

Leeds are considering appealing against the one-match suspension White will have to face once they have studied video footage of the incident.

Andy D`Urso decided on a straight red card after consultation with his assistant with the pair clearly missing the push on White in the lead up to the incident.

Grayson speaking in the Yorkshire Evening Post said, “I would think we`d have a look at it.
“There`s no getting away from that fact that I`ve seen it and it`s a free-kick on Aidy White to start with.
“As him and Emmanuel-Thomas are running through, Emmanuel-Thomas has nudged him in the back and that`s why Aidy brought him down. That one decision changed everything because we weren`t in any danger of losing the game.”

White will miss Leeds next game against Crystal Palace at home on September 10th if they decide against the appeal.

The young defender is Leeds third player already this season to be shown a red card following Max Gradel and Jonny Howson who were both sent off against Middlesbrough.
