Leeds United are reportedly keen on young West Bromwich Albion striker Tyler Roberts.

The Yorkshire Evening Post are reporting that Leeds are amongst a number of clubs waiting to see if Roberts commits his long-term future to the Baggies.

The 19-year-old is currently on loan at League One side Walsall but he is due to return to the Hawthorns after their game with Charlton Athletic on Saturday.

Roberts, who is out of contract in the summer, is a Wales under-21 international and he has previously had loan spells at Oxford United and Shrewsbury Town having made his Premier League debut for West Brom as a 17-year-old in 2016.

The striker, who has netted five times in 18 appearances at Walsall, will be a free agent in the summer if he fails to agree a deal with West Brom and Leeds are amongst a host of clubs, including Scottish giants Rangers and interest from abroad.

If Roberts is free to find a new club in the summer, West Brom will receive compensation due to the youngster`s age.
