Leeds 100% start to pre season was ended when they were held to a 1-1 draw at Sheffield Wednesday.

Leeds included a new trialist with Hungarian international Boldiszar Bodor amongst the substitutes.

Fellow trialists Alexandre Mendy and Isaiah Osbourne were also included but there was no sign of J. Lloyd Samuel.

A number of players were missing for Leeds with Andy O`Brien, Davide Somma, Robert Snodgrass, Federico Bessone, John Howson and Luciano Becchio all absent.

Wednesday started the game well and Sedgwick hit the crossbar with a header inside five minutes.

At the other end Gradel saw his shot deflected over the bar for a corner.

Former Leeds player David Prutton opened the scoring inside ten minutes for the home side when he cut in and fired past Rachubka.

Trialist Bodor was quickly in action as he was called to replace Ben Parker inside fifteen minutes who went off injured after suffering a heavy tackle.

Nunez had Leeds next decent effort when his long range shot just cleared the bar.

Mendy and Paynter also went close for Leeds but they couldn`t find an equaliser before the break.

Grayson decided against wholesale changes at half time when he made just two substitutions. Ross McCormack and Lloyd Sam replacing Ramon Nunez and Billy Paynter.

McCormack was quickly in action and saw his shot go wide of the post.

Leeds were continuing to press, Sam hit the post and McCormack saw his free kick go over the bar.

Jermaine Johnson almost doubled the lead for the home side when his shot went just wide of the post.

Gradel went close when he cut in and saw his shot cannon off the legs of Weaver and out for a corner.

Gradel equalised with six minutes remaining from the penalty spot when he sent Nicky Weaver the wrong way.

The penalty followed a foul on Gradel in the penalty area by Johnson.

The penalty was to prove to be the final meaningful action of the game.

Leeds now get ready for a trip to Norway when they face Second Division side Sandefjord on Tuesday night.
