Leeds came away from a FA tribunal hearing today with a £7,500 fine. They were also given a further £12,500 fine suspended until September 1st 2010.

The fine was for using an unlicensed agent (Lorenzo Paolo) when signing striker Anthony Elding from Stockport County in January of this year.

The FA showed a certain amount of leniency due to Leeds pleading guilty to the charge and their cooperation throughout the matter.

After last years fifteen point penalty a lot of Leeds fans feared the worst and expected another point`s penalty.

Hopefully Leeds can finally learn their lesson and the team can continue their fine form in pushing for a return to The Championship.
