Leeds United are set to bring in Japanese international Yosuke Ideguchi in the January transfer window according to reports in Japan.

The 21-year-old is set to sign for Leeds on loan when the transfer window opens according to Japanese outlet Yahoo.

The creative midfielder is currently playing for Japanese J-League side Gamba Osaka and he featured for Japan at the weekend, scoring the only goal of the game against Korea.

He has made 80 appearances for Gamba Osaka since making his debut as a 17-year-old in 2014 and he has chipped in with eight goals.

Leeds, who climbed back up to seventh in the Championship with their win at Queens Park Rangers at the weekend, will be looking to bolster their squad for a push for promotion in the second half of the season.
