Leeds United could be set for a cash windfall if Tottenham Hotspur sell Danny Rose.

The full back joined Tottenham from Leeds in 2007 for a deal worth £1m with Leeds including a 10% sell-on clause in the deal according to the Daily Express .

The England international has had a frustrating season with the north London club making just six appearances and he is keen to return north.

Manchester United are keen on 27-year-old and are ready to make a £50m bid for Rose, earning Leeds £4.9m from the deal.

Rose will be keen to make a move in the January transfer window to keep his appearance at next summer`s World Cup finals alive.

Rose is contracted to Tottenham until the summer of 2021.
