Leeds United are looking at the option of travelling to Scotland as part of their pre season schedule.

The official website has said that if they do travel to Scotland they could play Motherwell at Fir Park on Saturday July 16th, depending on clearance from the Scottish FA.

Leeds have also said that if the game does go ahead they will be hoping to arrange a further fixture north of the border, possibly against Falkirk.

The club are hoping to finalise details at the end of this week.

The first team squad currently have three games arranged as part of their build up to the 2011/12 Championship season.

Leeds will travel to Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday July 23rd and quickly follow this up with a trip to Rochdale on Tuesday July 26th.

Newcastle will visit Elland Road the weekend before the new season kicks off, on Sunday July 31st

Leeds have also arranged two games for a Leeds XI, at Bradford Park Avenue on Wednesday July 27th and at Farsley Celtic on Saturday August 6th.
