Leeds United have completed the signing of El Hadji Diouf.

Diouf has signed for Leeds on a non-contract basis after being released by Doncaster Rovers at the end of last season, where he made 23 appearances.

The 31 year old has twice been named African footballer of the year in 2002 and 2003.

He has won 69 caps For Senegal, scoring 21 goals and he was including the best eleven players performing at the 2002 World cup finals.

Diouf is vastly experienced in British football having played for Premier League sides, Liverpool, Bolton, Sunderland and Blackburn Rovers. He also had a spell on loan with Scottish champions Glasgow Rangers last season, helping them win the Scottish League Cup and the Championship.
