The latest figures are out for player agents fees for last season and Leeds United were ninth highest in the Championship table.

Leeds spent £788,630 over the course of 2010/11 season to agents, which included 58 transactions.

In total the 58 transactions included, 21 new registrations/transfers, 8 updated contracts, 10 cancelled contracts and 19 loans.

Three clubs went through the one million barrier with Queens Park Rangers the highest spending £1,770,262. Middlesbrough 1,598,228 and Leicester City 1,280,200 were next.

Scunthorpe United paid out the least amount, spending £119,008.

Only three other clubs spent less than £200,000 with Millwall £172,000, Watford £173,898 and Preston North End 193,250 the clubs to do so.

Promoted side Swansea City were also amongst those nearer the bottom end of the table spending £236,760.

In total in the championship £14,089,702 was spent.

Elsewhere in the Football League, Sheffield Wednesday were the highest spenders in League One (£415,660) and Shrewsbury Town the highest in League Two (£43,084).

Only eight clubs in the entire Football League did not spend any cash on agent`s fees last season.

League One side Hartlepool United as well as Accrington Stanley, Barnet, Cheltenham Town, Crewe Alexandra, Macclesfield Town, Stevenage and Stockport County the sides not to spend a penny.
