Leeds United missed a great chance to go level on top with Norwich on Saturday after conceding an equaliser deep into injury time.

With four of the top six meeting this weekend, and the teams in direct competition for the automatic promotion spots with Leeds both being away, it was a great chance missed.

Luciano Becchio twice gave Leeds the lead but Sweeney`s header in the third minute of injury time earned Hartlepool a point.

The point was enough to move Leeds to within two points of Norwich who lost their first game since October despite taking an early lead at Millwall through Chris Martin.

Goals from Tony Craig and Neil Harris ensured all three points for the Lions who strengthen their grip on the play off places.

Swindon and Charlton shared the points in a 1-1 draw at the County Ground. Kevin Amankwaah gave the home side the lead but Nicky Bailey levelled deep into injury time to keep the Addicks four points behind Leeds

Huddersfield dropped points at home against Carlisle, Anthony Pilkington gave the home side the lead but a goal inside the last ten minutes by Ben Marshall leave Huddersfield in seventh place, three points outside the play offs.

MK Dons moved level on points with Huddersfield after coming from behind at bottom club Stockport County to win.

George Donnelly gave the home side the lead but missed a great chance to double the lead when his penalty was saved.

Mk Dons made Stockport pay for the missed chance and former Stockport players Jermaine Easter and Aaron Wilbraham put the visitors into the lead, on loan Andros Townsend added a third.

Stockport are now thirteen points from safety and without a league win since October and looked destined for League Two.

Wycombe slipped closer to a quick return to League Two after suffering a heavy 4-1 home defeat against Yeovil Town, Dean Bowditch (2), Andrew Welsh and Owain Tudur Jones scored for the visitors whilst Matt Harrold scored for the home side.

Tranmere stay in the bottom four after losing 1-0 at home to fellow relegation candidates Oldham Athletic.
Pawel Abbott scored the only goal of the game to move the Latics out of the bottom four.

Brighton earned a point at Leyton Orient, Glenn Murray gave the visitors the lead after a shocking mistake by the Orient keeper.

Scott McGleish equalised for the home side who remain in the top half of the table.
