Leeds United defender Patrick Kisnorbo is currently in America as he continues his rehabilitation from his Achilles injury.

Kisnorbo has been missing since suffering an Achilles injury in the home game against Millwall last season.

The Australian international needed surgery that ruled him out of the run in to League One season and also ruled him out of the World cup in South Africa.

Leeds boss Simon Grayson is still not putting any timescale on the influential defenders return but is happy with the progress being made. Grayson speaking on the official website said, “In terms of timescales, it`s the same as, in that he as had a major injury and you can`t rush someone back after an injury like that.”

Despite missing the run in last season, Kisnorbo still walked away with a number of awards at the end of season awards bash where he collected the clubs Player of the Year.

Grayson is hopeful that the player will play some part in this Championship season but is not rushing back the 29 year old.

Kisnorbo is into the final year of his two-year contract and will hope to return in time to convince Grayson that he is worth a new deal.
