Leeds United defender Luke Ayling will serve a two-match suspension after picking up his tenth yellow card of the season.

Ayling was shown a yellow card in the first half of the clash with Queens Park Rangers this afternoon and he will now serve an automatic two-match ban under the totting up system.

The full-back only had to avoid a caution today to avoid a suspension under the totting up system for yellow cards.

Ayling will now miss the crucial clashes with promotion rivals Brighton and Hove Albion and Reading.

Kyle Bartley avoided picking up a tenth yellow card of the season in the game.

Players can now only be suspended under the totting up system this season if they pick up 15 yellow cards over the remainder of the season, including the play-offs.

Pontus Jansson is currently on 13 yellow cards this season and the closest to a suspension.
