Leeds United goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel has been short listed for the E.ON FA Cup Third Round Player of the Round.

Schmeichel was in outstanding form for Leeds as they held Arsenal to a 1-1 draw at the Emirates.

The big Dane was only beaten from the penalty spot by Cesc Fabregas in the final minute of normal time.

The 24 year old still had time to pull off a world class save to deny Denilson in injury time and help earn Leeds the replay they deserved.

The short list is chosen by, Ricky George (Hereford goalscoring hero against Newcastle), Ian Bartlett (E.ON Executive Director), Mark Chapman (Radio 5 live presenter), Howard Wheatcroft (Daily Star Sports Editor) and Tim Lovejoy (former Soccer am presenter)

Shortlist:
Michael Bostwick – Stevenage
Shaun Harrad – Burton Albion
Diomansy Kamara – Fulham
Kasper Schmeichel – Leeds United
Sergio Torres – Crawley Town
