Whilst Leigh Bromby was not so fortunate last week, Bradley Johnson escaped picking up a one-match suspension by three days on Sunday when he picked up his fifth yellow card of the season.

The cut off date for five bookings, resulting in a suspension ended on December 31st so players will now have to reach ten bookings before having to face a two-match suspension between now and April 11th.

Bromby will feel especially unlucky having picked up his fifth yellow card at Stockport on the 28th December, just three days before the cut off which meant he missed the Manchester United game.

Three Leeds players had to serve one match suspension for reaching five yellow cards before the end of December.

Mike Doyle, Robert Snodgrass and Leigh Bromby have been the unlucky players.

No Leeds player as yet to a receive a red card this season although Tresor Kandol served a three match suspension for an altercation with a Yeovil player after the final whistle in November which saw him charged by the FA.

Current Disciplinary record (Yellow cards)

Snodgrass, Doyle, Bromby, Johnson 5
Crowe 4
Kisnorbo, Naylor 3
Becchio, Howson, Beckford, Kilkenny 2
Ankergren, Hughes, Michalik 1
