Leeds United travel to Ipswich Town on Saturday hoping to quickly put right the nightmare of Tuesday night.

Form

Ipswich
Ipswich twice went on the road this week; they drew 1-1 at Scunthorpe on Saturday and lost 1-0 at Reading on Tuesday.

The last time they were in home action, they beat Cardiff City 2-0.

So far this season at home they have won two (Bristol City and Cardiff both 2-0), drawn one (Burnley 1-1) and lost one (Qpr 3-0).

After nine games so far this season, they sit one place outside the play off places in seventh with fifteen points.

Leeds
The Whites go into this game still locking their wounds after letting a 4-1 lead slip at home against Preston in midweek when they eventually lost 6-4.

Last time out on their travels they drew 0-0 at Doncaster Rovers.

So far this season away from home they have won one (Watford 1-0), draw two (Nottingham Forest 1-1 and Doncaster 0-0) and lost one (Barnsley 5-2).

They are currently in ninth place with fourteen points from their nine games.

History

The two sides have met on 31 occasions at Portman Road with Ipswich just having the edge with 13 wins to Leeds 10 and 8 have been drawn.

It will be the first time the two clubs have met at Ipswich since the 2006/07 season when a Gavin Williams goal in first half stoppage time was enough to earn the home side all three points.
