Leeds United defender Paul Huntington looks set to have his loan at Stockport County extended for a further 28 days.

The 21 year olds initial one month loan is due to run out on October 10th, but Stockport and Leeds have come to an agreement for him to stay for an extended period subject to Football League approval.

Huntington has had an injury ravaged career so far at Elland Road and with the Whites having plenty of cover in central defence at the moment it allows him to gain more regular first team football.

The former Newcastle defender as so far made five appearances for the Hatters, he missed last nights Johnstone`s Paint Trophy defeat at Port Vale due to suspension after being sent off in the weekend defeat against Southend.
