Mark Hughes has confirmed Manchester City`s interest in Leeds star midfielder Fabian Delph.
Big spending City were playing at Barnsley today and speaking after the game with SkySports.com City boss Hughes said ‘He is a young player who has been brought to our attention.
‘I’m not sure where we are up to with that because obviously I have been busy with the game today.’
Delph didn`t play for Leeds in their final pre season friendly at Burnley with the club claiming he`d picked up an injury in training.
Manchester City have been spending money like it`s going out of fashion this summer and they are sure to test Leeds resolve if they come in with a good bid.
