Blackpool manager Ian Holloway thought the Leeds fans were unbelievable, despite his side putting five past Leeds in midweek.

Holloway watched his side inflict Leeds heaviest home defeat in just over 30 years at Elland Road on Wednesday night, beating Leeds 5-0.

Leeds fans had shown their frustration towards former Blackpool keeper Paul Rachubka in the first half after crucial errors led to the visitors opening three goals.

The fans tried in vain to haul Leeds back into the game despite being down to ten men and three down at half time, and it didn`t go unnoticed by visiting manager, Holloway. Speaking in the Yorkshire Evening Post, Holloway said, “I thought the Leeds fans in the end were absolutely unbelievable. I`ve never been at a place with singing like that when the scoreline`s like that. They love their football and they understand it.”

Despite the heavy midweek defeat, Leeds will once again be supported by a sell out following at Leicester today.
