Leeds United penalty saving hero Shane Higgs wants the side to get straight back on a winning role.
Higgs saved a penalty on Friday night in the 0-0 draw at Southend United which saw an end to Leeds 100% start to the season.
Speaking in the Yorkshire Evening Post, Higgs said ‘You can’t help but feel confident going back to Elland Road. It’s not that we need a response to the Southend result but it would be nice to get a run of wins going again”.
The former Cheltenham keeper who joined Leeds in the summer has been in fantastic form since joining the Whites.
When he joined the club he was in a straight fight for the number one jersey with Casper Ankergren, but after impressing in pre season, he`s continued the form into the season and made the goalkeepers spot his own.
