Leeds United striker Mike Grella is enjoying his loan spell at Swindon Town but still sees his future at Elland Road despite lack of opportunities.

Grella is with the League One side for the remainder of the season and is enjoying the chance to play regular first team football.

Despite his lack of opportunity at Elland Road, Grella still sees his future with Leeds.

Speaking in the Swindon Advertiser, Grella said, “It is frustrating at Leeds a bit, but I love it there. They are probably one of the best clubs in England to play for at the moment and I wouldn’t pick another one.
“I had a good loan spell at Carlisle and I am enjoying myself here at the moment, it is good getting games.”

Grella has made just two substitute appearances for Leeds this season and just nine starts since signing for the club in 2009.

Since his arrival at the County Ground. Grella has scored one goal in five starts.

The American enjoyed a successful loan spell at Carlisle earlier in the season, scoring three goals in ten appearances.

Grella is contracted to Leeds until the summer of 2012 after signing a three year deal in August 2009.
