Reports coming out of Swindon suggest that on loan striker Mike Grella has returned to Leeds United.

The Swindon Advertiser report that the American as returned to Leeds after losing his place in the starting line up following the appointment of Paul Hart as manager, despite signing on loan at the County Ground for the remainder of the season.

Grella scored one goal in seven appearances for the struggling robins, in the 1-1 draw at Dagenham and Redbridge.

After losing out in the League One play off final last season, Swindon look in danger of being relegated this season.

The 24 year old has already had a loan spell at Carlisle this season, after seeing his chances at Elland Road limited having made just two substitute appearances for Leeds this season.
