Leeds United striker Mike Grella has joined Swindon Town on loan.

Grella has signed for the League One side for the remainder of the season after seeing his first team chances at Leeds limited this season.

The 24 year old has made just two substitute appearances for Leeds this season and hasn`t featured since the first week of the season.

Grella spent three months on loan at Carlisle United earlier in the season where he scored three goals in eleven games.

The American was all set to join Scottish Premier League side Motherwell in January until FIFA blocked the move.

He becomes the fifth former Leeds player at the County Ground with Jonathan Douglas, David Lucas, Alan Sheehan and David Prutton already with the Wiltshire club.
