Leeds United boss Simon Grayson has been named npower Championship manager of the month for December.
Grayson won the award after Leeds went through the month unbeaten and enjoyed good wins, away at Burnley after trailing 2-0 at half time and against league leaders Queens Park Rangers at home.
It`s the first time that Grayson has picked up a manager of the month award since arriving at Elland Road in December 2009.
Despite losing just one game in the opening five months of last season and also going unbeaten in November of this season, Grayson was continuously overlooked for the award.
