Leeds United boss Simon Grayson is urging his players to continue the good work now they have reclaimed second spot.

Leeds moved back into second on Tuesday night with a 3-1 win at Carlisle United whilst Millwall could only draw at Yeovil Town.

The Whites have now won three games in a row for the first time since December. Its been an amazing turn around after the disappointment of the 3-0 home defeat by Swindon Town earlier in the month, which saw Leeds drop down to fourth place at that time.

Speaking on the official website Grayson said ‘The way the squad have responded since Swindon says a lot about them and we’re in a good position.

With just four games left to go it`s back in Leeds hands but Grayson still feel there is a long way to go, continuing he said, “We’ve got work to do if we’re going to get to where we want to get to.”

League leaders Norwich City have struggled in recent games and their lead is now down to six points over Leeds in second place after suffering a 2-1 defeat at Leyton Orient on Tuesday night.

This weekend throws up some very interesting fixtures in the promotion race with four of the top six playing against each other.

Sixth placed Huddersfield Town play hosts to third placed Millwall on Friday night with Leeds looking for their West Yorkshire neighbours to do them a favour.

On Saturday fourth placed Charlton Athletic host Norwich City, so all looks set for a very interesting few days in the League One promotion race.
