Leeds United boss Simon Grayson says his side will not get complacent despite the club leading League One by six points.
Grayson described Saturday`s victory at Brighton as the best of the season. The Seagulls had been in good form since the arrival of new boss Gus Poyet and most were expecting a difficult test.
The boss doesn`t think the players will approach a home game against Leyton orient any differently despite the club being unbeaten at home since January, a run stretching back nineteen games.
Speaking on the official website, Grayson said ‘Anyone thinking we just have to turn up to win a game will get a rude awakening.
‘The positive for me is I feel we have a group of players who won’t allow complacency to creep in. They are the sort to get on to each other if they see anything like that.
‘These players are a group who keep their focus. We are also a confident group who play with a lot of belief.’
Grayson`s not been scared to give his players a dressing down since being installed as the boss last December.
After the defeat at Hereford in February last season, it`s reported that he locked the players in the dressing room for almost an hour after the game.
The players responded by losing only one more game during the rest of the normal season.
Even after a 2-1 victory, in the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy against Darlington in October, he was quick to lambaste some of his players on a poor performance.
With a large strong and quality in depth, nobody in the team can afford to get complacent with players hitching to start.
