Leeds boss Simon Grayson is happy to go to West Ham United as underdogs on Sunday saying the team have the belief and confidence that they can match the promotion favourites.

Grayson is much more upbeat after seeing Leeds record their first championship points of the season in midweek with a 4-1 demolition of Hull City.

The Leeds boss is now confident ahead of the trip to Upton Park, speaking on the official website , Grayson said, ‘We’ll go there as underdogs which will make a nice change, but there’s no such thing as a home banker in this league.
“We will go there with a belief and a confidence in what we do. We’ll give them respect, but we believe we’re as good as anyone in this league and can beat anyone in this league.’

West Ham started the season with a disappointing 1-0 home defeat to Cardiff City but seem to have found their championship feet with wins at Doncaster (1-0) and Watford (4-0) in the past seven days.

Grayson will also have the luxury of having Max Gradel and Jonny Howson available to him again after the pair sat out the midweek win over Hull through suspension.

Sunday`s game will also go out to a global audience with Leeds live on Sky for the third time this season already.
