Leeds United manager Simon Grayson was far from happy with his side`s performance after suffering back-to-back defeats for the first time this season in the home loss to Millwall.

Speaking on Sky Sports after the game Grayson said “They was far better than us, with and without the ball, we didn`t compete enough, we got bullied at times, we didn`t pass the ball around well enough and I don`t think we worked the goalkeeper throughout the 90 minutes”.

The defeat moves Millwall to within three points of Leeds in the second automatic spot.

With Leeds travelling to Norwich at the weekend and Millwall facing bottom of the table Stockport County at home, the gap could be closed even further unless Leeds can find the form that saw them lead the table by eight points at the turn of the year.

Continuing Grayson said “We`ve got to roll our sleeves up and get back on the training pitch and work hard”.

With Jermaine Beckford missing the game with a hamstring injury and influential defender Patrick Kisnorbo suffering an Achilles injury it was a very bad night all round for Leeds.
