Leeds United boss Simon Grayson believes it would be fully deserved if Robert Snodgrass earned a call up to the Scotland national squad.
Snodgrass has been in fantastic form recently and looks back to his best after missing the first month of the season through injury.
Grayson as been impressed with Snodgrass and he thinks a call up could be on the horizon.
Speaking in the Yorkshire Evening Post, Grayson said, ‘He’s playing with a fantastic amount of quality and a great attitude.
‘He works hard for the team and I wouldn’t be surprised if he got a call-up.
‘He deserves anything he gets in the future. He’ll concentrate on what we’re doing here but if he is called up then it’s well deserved.’
Snodgrass was unfortunate last season when he earned his first call up to the national squad for the friendly with Japan but was forced to pull out after suffering an injury.
Scotland play Northern Ireland in Dublin in February in their next competitive match.
