LUFC Grayson still looking to add to the squad
Leeds United boss Simon Grayson says he spoke with a couple of managers on Friday about possible transfer targets but no deals been done.
Grayson has already moved to bolster his squad in January by signing Andy O`Brien on a permanent deal after his loan spell from Bolton.
He has also extended the contract of Honduras international Ramon Nunez until the end of the season and he`s resigned George McCartney on loan from Sunderland for the rest of the season, after the Northern Ireland international enjoyed three months on loan during the first half of the season.
Grayson is still looking to bolster his squad ahead of the transfer window closing at the end of January as he hopes his side can continue their push for promotion, Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Grayson said, “It`s ongoing, we had talks with a couple of managers yesterday (Friday), trying to find out what the availability of one or two are.
“We`d like to bring a couple more in, results like today can only stand us in good stead to bring in good quality players.”
The Leeds boss stated that he is not expecting to do anything on the transfer front until after Wednesday nights FA Cup replay clash with Arsenal is out of the way, as anyone he would sign would be ineligible for the replay because they was not at the club at the time of the first game at the Emirates.
