Simon Grayson is set for a busy period as he sits down with the players who are out of contract in the summer to sort out new deals.
Leeds have a number of first team regulars out of contract next summer, Luciano Becchio, Patrick Kisnorbo, Bradley Johnson, Neil Kilkenny and Richard Naylor are all coming to the end of their deals.
Speaking in the YEP, Grayson said, ‘The window’s just shut but I’m sure it’s on the agenda for (chief executive) Shaun Harvey to speak to their representatives.
‘We’ll try to keep the players but if they feel they’re going to move on to bigger and better things by leaving on a free transfer then we can’t do much about that – apart from offer deals which we think is their value.

Also out of contract next summer are Davide Somma and Andy Hughes who have only just signed new one-year deals with the club.
Goalkeeper Shane Higgs who is now the deputy to Kasper Schmeichel will also come to the end of his two year deal.
Andy Robinson is also out of contract; Grayson is still trying to offload the midfielder having told him at the end of last season to actively look for a new club.
The Leeds boss might allow some of the players to leave at the end of their current contracts rather than offer them a new deal.
At the end of last season, he released the experienced Rui Marques and Casper Ankergren from the club and after bringing in ten players on longer-term deals over the summer, he might want to offload a few players.
What Grayson will be hoping to avoid though is a repeat of last season when they on off saga of Jermaine Beckford eventually saw the player who had scored 85 goals in three seasons leave for nothing as he ran down his contract.
Grayson admitted that he is unlikely to sit down with Patrick Kisnorbo until the popular defender is closer to a return to fitness.
‘It has to be a two-way thing. We’ve got to be loyal to him to try and sort something out because he’s been fantastic for us but he’s got to understand that we can’t really offer him a contract until he’s proved that he’s back to full fitness,” he continued.
The current Leeds United Player of the season has been missing since March after rupturing his Achilles in the game against Millwall and is unlikely to be back until October at the earliest.
