Simon Grayson is looking forward to Monday night`s live TV game against Norwich City at Elland Road, and believes the two week break came just at the right time for his team.

Monday`s game will be Leeds first league game for sixteen days, since the 0-0 draw with Charlton at Elland Road.

Leeds went into that game with a number of players carrying knocks and some players looking tired after a hectic start to the season.

Speaking on the official website Grayson said “It`s been an opportunity for the players to recharge their batteries and do more work, but they are ready for Monday night now”.

Grayson believes that Norwich will be close to the automatic promotion spots come the end of the season after a disastrous start to the season when they lost 7-1 at home against Colchester.

Ironically the Norwich boss Bryn Gunn was sacked and replaced by Paul Lambert who was the man in charge at Colchester.

The Canaries have since settled down to life in League One and are quickly moving up the table, they currently fill sixth spot winning their last three games and scoring ten goals.
